We are Ignacio and Valentina, as lovers of astronomy, we have formed this beautiful project called Stargazing Chile, an agency dedicated to astronomical tourism, with 9 years of experience in the area.

The weather in San Pedro de Atacama is very changeable and often presents us with temperatures below 0° Celsius, so we recommend that you come prepared.

How long is the Tour?
Each session lasts 1:30 hrs. Plus transfer times. In total, 2:30 hrs should be considered.
Where do we meet to departure?
We meet in the center of San Pedro de Atacama at a previously agreed point, here our transport will be waiting for us to bring you to our observatory, located 11 kilometers from the town.
How do we get back to town?
Once our tour is over, the same vehicle in which you arrived will be waiting to bring you to your respective hotels.
Does the tour includes a picture with the Starry Background?
Yes, each of our sessions includes a personal photograph and also a group photograph for each reservation.
The starry background changes according to the time of year.
How is the observatory deployed?
Our observatory is located 11 kilometers from the town center in the Cucuter’s area and is made up of two independent outdoor areas, an amphitheater where astronomy talks are held and the observatory where we observe through our telescopes.
How do i get my Pictures?
Visiting our social networks on Facebook or Instagram, then send us a message telling us when was your visit and the time when you do the tour and we will send you a Link to download your pictures through Google Photos
